Best external water cooling system

I am looking to upgrade my water setup.

I am looking at
Thermaltake SHARK VA7000SWA Silver 1.0 mm All aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake toughpower W0117RU ATX12V/ EPS12V 750W Power Supply

I also already have the Koolance hard drive block on my Raptor.

I am looking for an external system (one in which I can use my current waterblocks). I don't need silence and I don't need the greatest overclock in history but I will overclock.

The Koolance Exos-2 is the obvious upgrade from my old PC2 but I am open to suggestions.

I will have an Opty 170 and DFI SLI Expert board for about six months and then the Conroe will probably take its place.

the koolance exos2 as u mentioned is the obvious choice.Or u could get the asetek waterchill xternal.
Both are in a league of their own.(and a price of their own)But they do perform similarly.

It has been awhile since I looked at a new watercooling rig, that is why I was asking. Thanks for the response.

or could custom build ur own water cooling system.With the best parts from each category.For the price of a koolance exos,u could make an awesome water cooling system ur self.(which can/will be inside the case and can perform at a similar level)If u are interested post please.

I am not really into it enough to build it myself. I would rather have a prefabbed unit even if it cost more. It is a hobby but not a hardcore hobby.

then the koolance exos-2 would be the best buy.(since money isn't that much of a limitng factor)

sorry to say but your koolance blocks are ranked amungst the worst blocks in history, next to coolmaster waterblock products. The Koolance Exos is also not that great of a external setup because i hear theres problem with the dual pump design they use, hence they changed the entire unit to a bay style on the 1000W design.

Like someone said its actually cheaper and far better to custom a external setup. You would just need to be creative. If you really would like to get a top quality external you might want to pm Jen, her handle is Moo, she might be able to build you a high quality one with everything you need, the only problem is i think she has a lot of barn work, but her quality is top notich!

Also she most likely could build you a far better one then koolance and Astek.

Try pming her and see if she could do a custom for you, that would be my best bet.


Edit: just to let you know, jen's been watercooling xeon's back in the days, and as for experience, im sure she's 2+ years more experienced then i am, and the only person i would listen to over myself is Hardwarrior, who i also think might have less experience then Jen.

Jen's hardcore because she still uses heatercores and 120Volt pumps which would be much better solution then using a 12V connecter off the rear if ur externally mounting it.

i have built a external box in the past for watercooling ,

items i used was this

chevy heater core , this was big enough to accept two 120mm fans

danmag 350 gph pump , these are very good pumps once you have sealed them correctly . if they are not sealed in time they will leak.

two 120mm papst 110 volt fans , rated 103 cfm each . i used a light dimmer switch to control speed / voltage to fans. very effective on a quiet system and if you have need to turn them on high you can do so easily

i used 1/2 inch water lines , if i had known of the 7/16 tubeing i would have used that instead.

for waterblock at the time it was spiral waterblock , if i had a choice to make i would consider the storm waterblocks or something similar.

i have seen some people use speaker boxs that can be bought at auto stores and then place thier watercooling items in to the box
