Best ethernet print server?

I searched and can't find anything in the forums.

I am in need of a decent RJ45/ethernet printer server with a USB printer interface. Right now the computer the network printer is hooked to is having issues and I figured it was the time that I move to a stand alone network printer setup. Right now the printer is an HP deskjet but will be moving to a laser printer in a couple of months if that helps. Thanks!
 
That?s a bit out of my price range. As you said I could buy a network printer for that much. At this point I can even go with one that has a parallel plug if that makes it any easier. The printer is used for basic printing and nothing more.
 
bluestrobe, get a printer with a built-in (not just an included external widget) print server. All of the low-cost external print servers I've used have been junk. The HP JetDirect is good, but expensive (though they can be had cheap used).
