Best Etailer?

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,

As you may know, getting the lowest price isn't everything when it comes to online retailers. I'm sure some of us have had some bad experiences with ordering our gear off the internet.
I am not trying start any kind of flame war against anyone, and would prefer if no-one went on a rant about how they were mistreated. Brief comments would be appreciated, and please try to keep it civil.
Anyway, I thought I would get some input from the esteemed members of this forum as to which Etailers rate the best. I would consider the following, in no particular order of importance;
Price (obviously a prime consideration)
Customer service (do they respond promptly and fairly to questions and/or problems, and are they knowledgeable about the products they sell?)
Brand selection (do they carry the all the top brands, just a few of the better known, or some no-name junk?) (I would exclude manufacturers that sell direct, but you might include them as far as the other catagories)
Accuracy of their catalogs (ever order something that is "In Stock" only to find out a week later that it isn't available?)
Shipping, packaging, handling (not necessarily the carriers; e.g. FedEx, UPS, etc., but how their warehouse people care for your shipment, do they pack your order with care, or just throw it in box? Also, do they seem to charge more for shipping than others?)
RMA process (do you get a big hassle when trying to return merchandise?)

Now, I'm not going to make a list of Etailers for you to rate. I would like you consider the above, and pick one two as the best and post here.

If anyone has anything else to add, please feel free.

ZipZoomFly and NewEgg would be my top 2 best e-tailers. Never have anything wrong with either, and RMA w/ ZZF was great when I had to use it. Good prices, fast shipping, etc...

The main site I have a problem with is officedepot.com, their rebates and customer service is the worst I've ever encountered.

Newegg is still the best for computer equipment, even though their not near as good as they were in the beginning.

ZZF is awesome as long as you don't buy anything from them that you may have to return - everyone I talk to voices concerns with ZZF's return policies.

FrozenCPU is awesome for enthusiast and hobby type computer stuff - cooling, cables, etc. Will go out of their way like Newegg to help you if something they shipped is wrong or not working.

SVC is also great for this king of computer stuff, however I've never actually dealt with a person there so I don't know if their as helpful as Frozen in this regard. I do know their prices are hard to beat.

MonoPrice for any cables and other stuff like above - they are based in Canada, and thus have mostly Asian customer service reps. Nothing against asians but you can't understand half of what their saying to you, even though they are quite helpful and ship things promptly - and have awesome prices.

Just a few of them from the top of my head, resellerratings is by far the best resource in this regard

Amazon.com is the best.. hands down.

I would completely disagree here, however.

I've had quite a few items that took 3-4 days longer to ship out then what was communicated when I bought said items.

Buy.com is much better and has everything amazon has

zzf's website sucks ass though

I like ZZF better than NewEgg even though I agree their website sucks...I usually use NewEgg to find something I want,
then I purchase at ZZF

I vote Amazon. Great selection, great prices, lots of user reviews, no tax, cheap 2-day shipping for regular shoppers (Amazon Prime), and I get 3 points for every dollar I spend there on my rewards card. Their packaging is usually good and they have amazing customer service.

Their return policy is really good too. They will give you a return label that you print and tape to the box. You just need to drop it off at a mailbox/shipping office. If the product is broken, they refund ALL of your money. If the product isn't broken, then they'll deduct the return shipping cost, which is still cheaper than what you would normally pay. I returned a Microsoft Bluetooth KB/mouse set in the original, giant, Amazon box and they only deducted $5 from my refund. It costs me almost $10 in packaging and shipping to sell smaller items on FS/FT.

Newegg is great too. Good user reviews, decent prices, decent shipping costs, and, usually, fast shipping for me. Customer service is pretty good, but their return policy sucks compared to Amazon. I'm about 30 miles from their office so I get packages really quickly if they ship from there. Too bad I get charged tax though.

ZZF is pretty good. Their website isn't very good compared to Newegg's. They offer free 2-day shipping a lot, but it takes them 2 days just to ship it. Their prices are decent, but, as with Newegg, I get charged tax. Their return policy is comparable to Newegg's, which isn't very good.

But have you had to RMA anything yet?

My apologies to those of you who were looking for an actual poll. Pehaps I should not have worded my subject title thusly. If you read the comment at the bottom of my original post, you will see that I mentioned that I wasn't listing any Etailers for you to vote for specifically. Most of the other respondents have managed to get the gist of what I was proposing. If you wish I will edit.

Thank you for your understanding.

Too late.
