My buddy's got a Targa laptop; decent little machine. The PS died and the internet is the best place for a new one.

Where to get it? Yeah, I Googled and got a billion results. Is there a "best place?"
 
Are you referring to the A/C adapter-charger?

I would get it where I got the best deal after checking Newegg, ZZZ, Tiger, etc. Then I would find which of these has the exact adapter and then select the best deal that includes shipping.

What do you think of those "universal adaptors" LIKE THIS.

I'm leery of anything that puts out "up to 90 watts continuous" all the time...does it know how much wattage/voltage the battery needs? 😕
 
As long as it meets the specs of the old one, it should be OK. I have used the Targus universal adapter on two laptops and have not had a problem with them.
