Best email-phone device in US?

I am thinking it is either a Color Sidekick or a new Blackberry. Does anyone have experience with either and can tell me which they like?

My brother asked me for some advice... but I use my phone just for talking.

Prolly one of those. There's also the Treo and the Hitachi G1000 (the latter is pricey tho).

Treo is nice because it has the keyboard too but it's kinda small. Though doubling as a real phone is cool.

I know Sprint had the color Treo ( they may have stopped selling it) but other carriers had the b&w versions of it.

Blackberry is great and easy to use, but the phone features require the use of a headset if I remember correctly. Treo is junk. Don't have any experience with the Sidekick.
