Best election commercial of the year?

If you haven't seen it go check it out link

It a good looking political type doing a song and dance about voting for him, but don't ask about the issues.

Perfect for our all attack all the time mentality now days.

BTW: I live in central Florida, home of TONS of older folk, so that may be why I have seen it and many others have not.

?Don?t vote? as the name of the website their touting just puts a bad taste in it. Other than that, yeah it?s pretty good.

As for the attacks, I?ve seen nothing but a progressive rise in the hostility throughout my short 21 years. If this trend continues who knows how long until it turns into outright violence?

What we need to do is boycott all candidates who use attack ads, don?t give them a single vote and find someone more deserving.

I was in California a few weeks ago and saw one for the gubernatorial challenger made up of footage of Arnold campaigning for Bush 2 years ago. The closing line was something like 'Arnold is for GWB. Is he for you?'

But image is everything. All our instinctual and emotional capacity to read people were turned off as children and now we can just sense who people are by how they look. The world wouldn't be shallow and superficial if we weren't. How can you fix what we are too ashamed to admit?

That ad ran frequently in CT-I saw it at least a half dozen times. While the "don't vote" part is good for attracting attention, our USvoter turnout is pathetically low enough without people being given further justification not to vote.

It's very good. I'd say the first "John Morse's Shoes" commercial here in Colorado would give it a run for its money. 😛 (The commercial was punny, too.)
