What would be the best dvd player for this or would it just be better to build a PVR to play all of this on ?

How low can you go though when doing this? What is the minium power you will need ? Would it be better to just use a cheap but good quality laptop for this sense that would be the smallest scale you could get?

Think the Phillips at Wal-mart is the best you can find for the price. Does divx and some others. I heard there are a couple better ones but think they are expensive.

I was unaware of any players that did .ts
max, if your parents will allow you, you're only option to meet all those requirements is a Modded Xbox running XBMC. While it can techincally play .ts, certainly not at acceptable frame rates.

Edit: HAHAHAHA I just read the OP's signature... that is some FUNNY crap. Even if you ignore all the typos.
