Best DVD playback software?

Right now I'm using WinDVD5, came bundled with my soundcard. It's OK, but is there a better app available I have: 8600GT, M-Audio Revolution 5.1.

Most current versions of playback software are better than WinDVD 5...including WinDVD 8. Current versions will also support your videocard for HD optical (up to 1080i), whereas WinDVD 5 won't.

I prefer PowerDVD7. That's just me, tho'.
 
I use VLC because it'll play anything thrown at it. The UI isn't the prettiest, though (it can be skinned). I'll probably go with AnyDVD from Slysoft when I get my BR/HD optical drive.
