I did a search at newegg for an AGP video card with one DVI and a maximum price of $50 and got this many cards with these chipsets:

RADEON 9250...9
RADEON 9200SE...5
FX 5200...3
MX4000...2
9200...1

Which chipset is the best choice in this price range?

Usage?
First, it's to be used in a dual monitor linux setup.
Later, it will be used in an HTPC setup.

How about this?
I know, but it's at BB for less.
Comments, please.

I use a 9250 w/128 in this old machine. I only use 1 monitor, but I would say it works pretty good. Only one I've used in a Linux box is a GF4 4200.

I'm currently using a Ti4200 (with a loud fan) in my Windows machine, so I'll probably swap the Ti4200 to the linux box and use the new card in my Windows machine.

My PNY Ti4200 is as clear with it's D-sub port as it is with it's DVI port.
Can the same be said about this?

The VisionTek is a halfl-height card so is probably 64-bit memory. Sure, it's only about $45 AMIR and sales tax, but I can get a Gigabyte 128-bit for $52 delivered from ne. Definitely worth the additional $7.
Then there's the 9550 Gigabyte for $67 delivered, all w/o a fan. I feel I'm on the right track now. Much better potential for HTPC later on.
