Heh, I was inspired to play Low Rider when I saw this thread title :)

Here's a couple good fast driving songs, Black Betty or Aqualung, or anything Zeppelin. For sing along - yeah I'm the dork singing alone in my car, Warren Zevon or Neil Young.

Motley Crue - Kick Start My Heart

and

B.G. - Bling Bling for slow driving
"Every time I come around your city, bling bling!" ;)

I dont like rap, but that one song by fabulous that goes "I can't deny it, i'm a f*ckin rider, you don't wanna f*ck with me." Always makes me drive really fast.
That one is 2Pac - Ambitionz Az a Ridah

My favourite song to drive to, I don't know if it's been mentioned yet or not though, is Hotel California by the Eagles.

ObiDon, I think the song he is talking about is "Can't Deny It" by Fabolous. If he doesn't really like Rap, he's probably never heard "Ambitionz Az A Ridah."

Hmm for some reason I would have figured you for something by the "Doobie" Bros.

Exactly.

Runners up include Don Henley "The Boys of Summer" and Tom Petty "Running Down a Dream".

Bach. Check out the YoYoMa Cello Classic CD. The familiar easiness of the sound calms me down when I do 120 MPH on the highway.

Tori Amos -- Precious Things

One of the coolest experiences I've ever had was driving fast around a pitch black winding park road late at night, with trees overhanging the road, blasting this song. Talk about a mandate to drive fast!

Primus -- Mr. Krinkle

This is the second best song to do the same thing with! Now *that* was eerie! Seriously -- try it out. :)
