Best Driving / Racing games?

I'm looking for the best or coolest driving games.
I already have NFS Most Wanted. What else is there?

The best ones are on the consoles (IMO).
Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge are great. Gran Turismo 3 and 4. Project Gothem Racing for Xbox.

For the PC, GTR FIA Racing is supposed to be really good.

I forgot to mention that I am not a "track" driving type or guy. I hate those games.

I actually love driving through beautiful scenary instead.
NFS High Stakes was really good for this. Most wanted is OK (all tracks are the same and has no weather effects)

That's mainly what I'm looking for.

Oh, I just looked up Xpand Rally and it looks very nice!

PC only? Your choices are quite limited there unfortunately.

For PS2- GT obviously

XBox- Forza Motorsports(IMO best racing game bar none)

XB360- PGR3(only for the scenery, the racing is bland at best)

Burnout on any system is a blast.

Forgot Nintendo-

GameCube- MarioKart and F-Zero

DS- Mario Kart is incredible(best MK to date which is saying something)

I agree with Ben: FORZA is THE only racing game you need... until Forza 360, that is.

well on the PC there are a few simulation type racers, but unless your really into all the intricacies of setting up a race car etc then they can get boring

toca race driver series.... isnt a bad effort

colin mcrea rally 2005 isnt bad either, but its just continuous racing agains the clock, gets very monotonous...

richard burns rally.....well thats a real challenge lol.

best racers, IMO are on the console....so much fun can be had with multiplayer burnout 😀
