Best Driver for radeon 8500?

Ok... I have the xp operating system, epox 8k7a and a T-bird 1.2 ghz. I heard a lot of things about drivers making all the difference between the different OSes... which one is the best for my configuration?


Also, i'm going to uninstall some video card drivers. How exactly would i go about doing that (besides "add/remove the PowerVR tools for prophet 4500 under control panel)? I'm hoping i won't have to dive too deep into the registry.

use the lastest drivers, beta ones are the best for most.

Just uninstall them, if the performance sucks for your new card, then there are registry entries that are left.

Get the latest beta drivers. A really good site for ATI drivers (used it all the time for my Radeon DDR) is http://www.rage3d.com.

thats good and all, but i'm not really good at registry tweaking... how would i know what parts (of the old graphics drivers) to remove?
