Hello everyone.

What are your best favorite deeply emotional movies of all time? I've watched like tons of great emotional movies and i couldn't find any new one to watch.

I need like a rare, old classic movie i haven't watched it before. I like the movies similar to "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "THE GREEN MILE", "Shawshank", " Man on Fire" .. etc.

What's your opinions?

Lorenzo's Oil

Schindler's List

The Wrestler

Requiem for a Dream

Good Will Hunting

Dead Poet's Society

Million Dollar Baby

Boyz in the Hood

Interesting that Robin Williams stars in two of the movies that I find very emotionally powerful.

Runners up-

Mr. Holland's Opus

Mine (the one about the lost animal from Hurricane Katrina)

Good one! The first time I watched that film I was about 8 years old. Still remember the experience. Partly because the movie was good. And partly because it was and still is the only movie I have seen where there was a scheduled intermission.

Melancholia was pretty deep...but in a weird way...

Great movie. You should watch Dogville.

It is an amazing movie. I have not re-watched it in a while, but it's just so beautifully composed and acted. The music is incredible too of course.

@Rhezuss, @TechBoyJK

Sure Melancholia is not bad, but actually i didn't like it that much. I really became depressed after watching it.
Thank you.

@KeithTalent Thank you for the list. You have a great collection in your top 100 Films too 🙂

Road to Perdition
Gladiator

Some particularly powerful scenes:
Crash - one scene in particular, most "emotion" tediously forced.
The Prince of Egypt

Golden Financial Services and S&N Debt Solutions, LLC are both owned by the same people and are extremely unreliable companies. They provide no real support and have no business offering either "debt negotiation services" or "debt settlement services." They will take your money, ruin your credit, and increase your debt overall. They have terrible BBB ratings and are run by criminals. DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES

:sneaky:

Is that what you were looking for?
:awe:

The Wrestler
This.

Requiem for a Dream
That movie disturbed me. I don't know whether to describe it as "emotion" or "horror."

A powerful effect, to say the least.

Hachiko - if it doesn't at least make you frown in sadness you have no soul.

I also second Mr. Hollands Opus - but I think you have to appreciate the arts to get it.
