Can someone recommend a good Domain Name registration site? I know GoDaddy.com and Registration.com. However I read something about GoDaddy that they are allowed to take down your domain without notice, if someone complains...or something of that sort. I'm not sure what that's all about though. So any recommendations would be welcome. THanks.

P.S. sorry if this is the wrong forum to post these kinds of stuff...but I don't see any other particular section that caters to this. :\

I really should work for 1and1.com, I have recommend it to about almost everyone I know and I let them host all of my clients (for I am a website designer)

I like to hear what people thinks also, please do tell if anyone have objection to www.1and1.com as a host

I like 1and1. If you want much better control over DNS or host multiple domains Bulk register is the VERY best. I manage a couple hundred in one account on Bulk and its amazing well organized and laid out. bulk.enom.com

I like the DynDNS.org works great for dynamic hosting has a good web interface and even offers up some free names and services.

Thanks for the replies. I took a look at 1and1 & Bulk Register. Both looked more appealing than either GoDaddy or Register.com honestly hahah.

I also have another question: what if I want to start my website in ANOTHER COUNTRY? I would need to host the actual website through that respective country's hosting services, correct? Can I just register the domain name I want, through 1and1 for example? Sorry but I've only played around with websites back in the day through Geocities. :( Thanks for the help so far.
