Cascade in a bottle from Sam's Club. I keep trying to sell my wife on the Member's Mark powder since it's cheaper. She doesn't think generic works as well as brand name stuff. I say that the only thing brand name stuff is better at is wasting money.

Cascade Complete. But it's outlawed here.

With bleach in the little pouch thingers!

No, the powder. But this county has outlawed all dish washing detergents with phosphates in them so I'll never get to try the pouches (legally!) We just go to Idaho and buy the good stuff now.

What commie country do you live in?

We use the powder version of Cascade Complete.

Spokane, WA USA---Not commies yet.

We use the Electrosol tabs with the red button on top too. Regular powdered detergent wasn't working very well, and for awhile we thought we might need a new dishwasher, but switching to the tabs helped a lot.

we have to use liquid , the little solid cubes don't fully dissolve in our hard water , neither does the powder
we get the giant bottles of cascade at costco

I’m curious what brought you to a nearly 11 year old discussion on dishwasher detergent?
I'm amazed that there was a discussion about dishwasher detergent that went on for two pages! I have no idea what we use and I'd never thought about it until this thread!
For the record they are tablets that are wrapped in dissolving plastic stuff. Possibly white and blue? Come in a box.

nah the type my wife likes come in a foil package (inside a big box). Not sure of the brand, probably whatever was on sale.
the tablet is still a solid block inside the package but it dissolves very quickly even if your fingers a wet taking it out of the foil.
i prefer the powder stuff in a cardboard box, just easier to recycle. Problem with the powder stuff is it tends to paste up and not release to door when the washer is running.

yeah, posted then minutes later disappeared. I’m suspicious of activity like that post 2016 election.

Its been obvious around here for awhile although I don't recall seeing the necro-bumps so often till relatively recently ... not 100% that it/he/she/other is automated but if not might as well be.

Currently I am using pril it is a local detergent and it works best in my dishwasher . All the utensils and dishes get cleaned easily

call me suspicious about Pril Per the website.

With such a diverse offering, the Pril brand name is now a choice in many countries such as Germany, Austria, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Algeria

so a pril user found some US forum where they decided to make an account, post then disappear.

Back in my day, we used STICKS and the GANGES RIVER, and WE LIKED IT!

(No, but seriously, it might be cool if I had a dishwasher, but my apt. is too small.)
