Best digitizer stylus?

Hey guys, so I've been considering buying a Thinkpad Yoga for college. The 1920x1080 model supports the use of digitizer input styluses like Wacom, unlike the Surface Pro 3 which is N-trig.
The TPY may or may not come with a stylus if I buy it refurbished, but either way I've heard it's a pretty crappy one.
Any suggestions on which to purchase? I've heard the Wacom Bamboo models are nice.

Been using Wacom for years through several generations. Bamboo is very nice with a pressure sensitive stylus.

Any specific model that you'd recommend? I'm going to be taking notes with the digitizer support, pretty much no drawing except for diagrams lol.

I just got my intuos pro large yesterday. Maybe its to big for me. Ilustrator doesnt have rotate canvas,so this is kinda bad.

Back to topic. Dont buy to large tablet, or u will need to make large movements with hands.

I never used tablets, so my expirience is: I draw like a 3 yeard old child...Ill need time to get use to. I went with wacom, cause of support.
But before wacom i was thinking about :

I liked this one,but screen is bad for my use:

You might have misread, I'm looking for the stylus pen to write with, not the tablet to write on. I'll be writing on the Thinkpad Yoga 2-in-1 hybrid convertible tablet laptop. I got that part covered 🙂

If it's an active digitizer screen I'd assume all pens made for that would work. I've seen Adonit jot pro, Wacom bamboo feel, and the Penabled tablet pc pen recommended so far. Any ideas?

It should work. My Wacom pens work in the car on my Garmin GPS - great for tiny keyboard. 🙂

OK - while the old Graphire stylus works OK on my Garmin GPS, it doesn't work at all on my Kindle Fire HD tablet. For it, I can use any garden variety soft tip stylus. Looks like you will have to do some experimenting.

I'm guessing it depends on what type of touchscreen on the Yoga - resistive or capacitive.

Best bet would be a replacement stylus by Wacom designed for use on a tablet. Best contact Wacom.

Added: Just checked - the Wacom stylus does not work on my smartphone either.

The Thinkpad Yogas use Wacom active digitisers. A full list of compatible stylii can be found here: http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/microsoft/55416-tabletpc-compatible-wacom-pens-work-surface-pro.html

I think the Wacom PL-900 is the best if you can get it (or an Axiotron Pro, but they are almost impossible to find now; Cintiq 15x/18x pens (old) are better as well, but are also hard to find). The Wacom carbon feel is good, but doesn't have a rubber (eraser) on the end; and the Surface Pro 1-2 pen is good, but only has one side button.

The Yoga also have a capacitive digitiser, but why you'd want to use a capacitive stylus other than for a particular drawing feeling (with no pressure sensitivity) is beyond me.

The Adonit Jot is not a Wacom pen.

The Wacom pens will only work with Wacom digitisers. This includes all Samsung S-pen devices (the same 'Wacom Penabled' technology). They will also work with resistive touchscreens quite well as they are pen shaped.

The Wacom stylus works with your GPS because it's a pressure sensitive screen-- You can poke it with anything and it will work.

The phone uses a capacitative touch screen which only works with fingers and some other conductive things, as I understand.

But the active digitizers are different-- They electrically sense the stylus. Wacom ones use some kind of induction to sense the stylus. N-Trig digitizers are similar but they have a battery in the stylus

Yup! They use Electromagnetic induction to induce a current in the pen so they dont need batteries.
"Yeah, bitch! Magnets!"
And I'm looking for a good one of those for note taking. Preferably with an eraser end.
