Unfortunately 1-2 weeks ago OM yanked Canon digicams (including the A70)

so as of now is the CANON PowerShot A60 Digital Camera for $230 the best camera in the 300-350 dollar range? im looking for something i can pretty much take anywhere and just pull out and take a quick picture with, do you think this would suit myu needs?
