Does this thing have firewire? I know it has usb2.0.
And finally can we use the latest celeron on it?

Ok maybe I be waiting a bit longer. For a Flex atx barebone system with say, AMD powered, 8usb2.0, 3firewire, 350watt PSU, AGP8X and 2PCI, and supports DDr333. Matter of fact, if the system is cheaper w/o onboard sound and graphic I am totally for it as I intent to blast the baby with Matrox Parhelia and audigy and a wireless card. Then it will be a dream system indeed.

One more thing is there is PS keyboard that is foldable like those mini keyboard for the palms? That will be cool too.

Ops one more thing, How about a rollable screen that I can chunk around in a tube and set it up when I wanna use the PC. Now that would be cool.

no firewire on it. im assuming the latest celeron can be used cuz its a p4 core.
i woudl think that the barebones system you are decsribing would be impossible b/c of size and heat considerations
shuttle has the ss51/ss41 coming out later in the year w/ agp for both p4 and athlon xp. they have the ss50/ss40 for p4 and athlon xp but w/o agp

ive seen a keyboard that you can roll up...it might have been on these forums but dont remember

Yeah so far it seems that Newegg has the best price. If I remember correctly at one time it was a little less then 349 or is that the price for the shuttle.

Anyway I am saving up for these tiny little baby. I just spend over 1400 on a 1.6A system.

My regretts on my current system is getting the 160 bucks each, abit TH7!!raid, radeon 7500AIW. Otherwise I think I would have had the money to buy a nice Flex atx system earlier.

Incase you like to know, I also have 2X120GB WD SE hard drive, Liteon DVD adn Liteon 32X12X40, 2NIC, 512mb RDram, volcano7+ heatsink, enermax 350w dual fan(quiet) PSU. And like 8 fans on my cheiftec black server case.

Man thinking about it I probably spend too much on the computer. And that is without a 5.1 sound card, which I hope to buy soon. Yeah the 55buck audigy5.1 from twco seems very tempting for me but I am that poor that I cant buy it yet.

Ok enough ranting on my part
The AMS system as far as I am concern at this price is not worth it unless you are really needing a cool system for lan gaming. Otherwise I have no trouble going to lan parties with my big ass server case humming.

repost :), I mentioned the same box about couple weeks ago.

SVC is a good place to buy cheat stuff, shipping is fast too.

You can get a fire wire port by using audigy or AIW 8500DV. You can even get a cheap remote to control the box since it comes with IR port in the front. With AIW, save at least $400 since it has the TIVO thing build in:).
