for a long time i used turbo tax because i liked the integration with quicken. then i realized i didn't really use any of those "features", so i switched to tax cut 'cause it was cheaper. it worked fine, but last year i tried turbotax online because vanguard was offering it for free. this year it's not free anymore so i'm back to having to buy something. so the question is, which is a better deal this year - taxcut or turbotax? in terms of use, as far as i'm concerned, they are about the same. i do want efiling, some deduction calculation software (for charitable donations), and the state package would be nice, tho not mandatory. i don't care about any associated financial software bundles.
