Where can you find the best price to get the Radeon 8500 retail with 275core/275mem? It's hard finding out on pricewatch cause they say "retail" and then they say "Le" sometimes. This is just for the standard 64Meg version.

What is the model number of the retail ati card? is it 100-431001??

I think I found one for around $144US, but it could be wrong info. Where did you buy your 8500retail and how long ago(not one of those special deals with a big rebate)?

PC Direct Source has it for $147, I've dealt with them before and their pretty decent. DV Century has it for $140.... but I hesitate tor ecommend them as I've no idea on how reliable they are.

Those are the best prices I'm aware of without a rebate, I've heard of prices as low as $120 after rebate though but I'm not sure where at.

I'm going to have to order it online cause of no "big-name" local shops here.

I checked out PCDirectSource and it is the PowerColor Radeon version. Plus it doesn't have 275core/275mem, it has 250.
I checked out DVCentury, and the price was good, but it doesn't have the model number or the speed of the card. I tried calling them, but there seems to be a problem with the number when calling from here.

Any other places online? What is the retail model number?

What is good about the buy.com price is that it is no rebate involved. If I were to pay $189 where I live it would be about $202 before rebate and $152 afterwards. The CompUSA special would have cost me $164 after rebate.

You'd probably be suprised to find that Best Buy, Compu USA, and fry's electronics all sold the retail 275/275 radeon 8500 factory sealed for $140 after mail in rebate. My friend got his at compusa with a simple Price match. I dunno if they are all still selling for that price, but they were a week ago.

Two weeks ago today i got mine at Best Buy for $199 minus a $50 mail in and $10 instant rebate... $139 after rebates... Plus their 30 day price match and return policies.

I am going to have to start emailing all the vendors to find out a the specs cause I want the 275/275 and I don't live close to any of the big name stores like CC, BB, Fry's, or Comp USA.
