Yea, it's closer to $150.
If anybody knows where to get if for $110, post a link as I would also be very interested.

There is a 1 GB Geil kit (2.5 CL) of DDR500 for $134. Not exactly cheap, but you get a nice head start on OC'ing with the 500.

What sort of voltage do you need for the OCZ stuff? My new MB goes to 3V. Is that enough? I had pretty much decided on the Corsair (non-LED) stuff linked above, but I could spring the extra few bucks for the GoldVX if it really helps.

Well the VX series are warrantied to 3.5V, and typical voltage 3.2V is required to get fastest timing.
There are successes with lower voltage of 2.6-3.0V
But if you are unlucky, you might need more than 3V for the fastest timing of 2225 and 250fsb

According to officals they are the same ram as Gold VX, but just untested so no garantee of performance. But still with high voltage 240+fsb 222 timings should be achievable with active cooling

is that stuff VX for sure? i thought it the value vx was supposed to have vx in the part number as well

Yea, I believe it does need the VX in the part number. Looks like it's only regular OCZ RAM.

Corsair Value Select.

Seriously though. With that VX you will need to run a divider anyway. Wether you ahev this or some nice OCz RAM it will not affect your CPU's overclock. Also with UTT Ram (which VX is) you need to supply enough voltage to get a good overclock. That is why it is so popular with the DFi NF4 mobo.
