bust out a few more dollars ($7) and get the 128Mb 8500LE off newegg.

But if you must stay under $100... get the 64Mb variant. You can also find the 9000Pro for under $100.

Best card for under $100, is probally a Radeon8500, or a Ti200.

It'll be awfuly hard finding the R8500 for under $100, but occasionally theres a good deal on the FS/T Forum. I found my Ti200 for $69 shipped from ubid.com a month back, you could try looking for computer parts there, or on the FS/T, as for under $100, they are alot more common than the R8500.

Good luck..

:( Well GF4MX cards are just slightly enhanced GF2 cards and unlike the other cards mentioned have no DX8 hw functions. GF3TI200 are very good esp for AA and Aniso but Rad8500LE are better (image quality, 3D perf, TVout, dual display and hw DVD playback).

 Rad9000pro is WORSE than a Rad8500LE and Rad8500 are generally too expensive for the small perf gain over Rad8500LE, much like GF3TI200 vs GF3TI500. Xabre400 are slightly faster than GF4MX cards but quirky and still quite risky, far below Rad9000 or GF3TI200 perf.

:D So Rad8500LE or GF3TI200 are your best bets under $100 unless you can get some wonder deal on a Rad8500, GF3TI500 or GF4TI. Whatever you get go for a 128MB version, GF3TI200 128MB is better than a Rad8500 64MB, esp for the games due out soon. GF4TI4200 are you best bet and even a 64MB version is better than any GF3 or Rad8500 and the best all-rounder, BUT they start from $130 so are just outside your budget.

;) What CPU are you planning to sit the card with and are there any plans to upgrade? This can make a fair diff as to what gfx card is best to buy.
