GTX 1660 Ti is really close (to GTX 1070) but has only 6GB of memory. Performance per watt is a bit better.

As far as 1080 performance the RTX 2060 or the RTX 2060S will bookend 1080 performance (The non-S will be slightly slower, the S version will be slightly faster, than a 1080).

If it means anything to you, they also come with NV's Ray tracing tech which won't necessarily run great on that level of card but can be a fun plus to play around with if you're interested.

In terms of Nvidia cards the RTX 1660ti is essentially a 1070 and the RTX 2060s is a bit faster than the 1080. But alternatively you could for for AMD cards, the RX 5700 is faster than the RTX 2060 at the same price and actually consumes a little bit less power as well. RX 5700XT is an absolute value beast, for just $50 more over the rx5700 you get 15% more performance. 5700xt crushes the RTX 2060s and RTX 2070.

I was super late to the GTX 1080 party but finally bought the EVGA Hybrid. Great card but does use some power, albeit not as much as my Vega 64 (which isn't quite as fast)

Have there been any 'GTX' announcements at all since the SUPER RTX cards?
