Best CPU for A8N32-SLI?

Using the Asus A8N32-SLI, which AMD proc would you guys recommend for a good
gaming rig?

Athlon 64 X2 4800 dual core or Athlon 64 FX 57?

I will be doing some audio processing, but not much multi-tasking as of now. However, I'm trying to determine if going dual-core right now is a better long-term move than single core for a bit higher FPS?

You're saving ~$180 (going by Newegg's retail box prices) with the 4800+, IMO it's a no-brainer. Your audio processing app(s) is probably multithreaded, and dual core would probably help out quite a bit there. The only issue I have with my dual core setup is the stupid 64 FPS cap in World of Warcraft on SMP setups.
