I will prob be using a variable speed fan that I will run at like 3500rpm or so

The SLK900 has been superceded as far as I can tell by the SLK947 (?), which has fewer parts interference issues. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not clear if its still offered as a four-bolt model. Anyway if I was buying an air-cooler now I'd want the SP94 and a nice big 92mm fan.

Take the SLK-900 and add heat pipes to it...sweet. Dunno why they'd put it out for Intel first tho. AMD needs the bad ass cooling...

hey if you end up going w/ zalman, get the 7000AlCu. the pure coppoer one cools only marginally better than the copper/aluminum one, and i don't think the minute difference justifies the $3-$5 price difference...
