best cooling system?

i'm running an athlon xp 2000+ and am getting a lot of heat - BIOS reads 55, SANDRA reads 52.. so i know i have to cool my system down a lot (getting lots of lockups as of late). Can anyone recommend a good fan/heatsink/whatever combo that would cool my cpu down a good 10 or 15 degrees or more? 😉 What combinations have you found that best minimize CPU temperature? Any brands or models or suggestions would be highly appreciated!
 
if your not overclocking, then 55 degrees is not going to lock anything up. unless you plan on overclocking, 55 is not really that bad, i wouldnt worry about it. save your money.
 
if you want best, go with watercooling...

but if you want heatsink/fan combo...

go with alpha 8045 or swiftech products...
