Best cooler

Hello there

I need a realy good CPU cooler. It will pay up till $100 for it. Anyone have some ideas on witch cooler 2 buy. My CPU is at Celeron 700mhz, soon 2 run 900mhz or 1ghz... Sorry for the multi-posting.

The best cooler is the Headghog it winns in all the reviews.......go to plycon.com I think there $49 with the black delta fan 7000rpm

I would not use a Peltier the risk is not worth the pay off.. I have 2 friends who used them and both fried the mobo and they had fallowed all the precautions...

Sorry for your friends, renob, but itàs still the best way to cool.
Well, a watercooling system with the peltier(s) cooling the wather could be better....

If so why are you not using one.....I have read lots of posts in this fourm about people who have used them and dont any more because there are to many problems with them.......

1 Not enought $$
2 Don't need them. Got a taisol hsf, is good 4 me. But if you want the better cooling... (but yes, they are dangerous)

hedgehogs aren't made perfectly
i heard they had soldered fins which isn't very good

dang pushed the enter too soon...

why not try a alpha or fop 38 (loud)
are there more copper ones out yet?

taisol is pretty cool ... good performance and cheap
on an intel it has to be modified so i don't think you would like it

just don't get a chrome
i haven't used one but i heard they weren't as good as people say they are

I am a pretty brave soul but im scared to use a peltier or water cooler. If you want to get a cooler another place to check is 2CoolTek. I can not say enough good about them, I have ordered twice from them and found they were the cheapest on what I needed. Their service was great, I got my "toys" on time and in good shape.
