There are 30 users total in 2 apartment complexes plus a 3-computer lounge, for a total of ~33 users in 3 geographically close but distinct buildings. We already have cat5 lines connecting all the individual rooms, so we do not need to get wireless, plus we think that it might have trouble reaching down to the basement which has a lot of stone walls.
I was thinking of getting a T1 line, which I think is about $600/mo, working out to be around <$20 per user. Is this a good solution? If so, what kinds of installation costs are required (note that we have cat5 lines already).
Another option is DSL or cable. I do not know too much about group rates for this connection, but I figure it must be pretty expensive.
Any thoughts?
