Too bad John Candy died, I would have loved to have a Trains/Planes sequel with Del living in Neal's house, pestering his waspy family.

Are you guys serious? Dumb and dumber makes Napolean Dynomite look like an Oscar winner. I see enough clueless stupid people in real life, do you really need to pay for it in the movies?

For me, Kingpin and There's Something About Mary are both the better Farrlley movies over D&D.

I feel about the same. I'd put all of them somewhere around 6/10 to 7/10 though. I'm not sure why people either think they're the best things ever or the worst.

Truly great comedies imho :

Airplane (perhaps a tad overrated)
Animal House (timeless)
Blazing saddles
Young Frankenstein

hmm

I like them all, and I do like Kingpin; but it depended more on shock humor.

Me, Myself, and Irene was under-appreciated.

Also: Outside Providence. that movie was gold, and no one saw it. 🙁

Came in expecting Office Space 2, leaving highly disappointed.
😡

This was my first thought too. Office Space rules.

But I am not disappoint in a real Dumb & Dumber sequel with Daniels and Carrey.

I wish I could unsee the disaster of the prequel though.

I'd agree, but I don't know if I've seen of theirs after Stuck On You. I thought I'd not like it and had tried watching it once and couldn't get into it, but watching it later it was pretty enjoyable.

I remember when Ben Stiller killed the one movie. I didn't even know that was a Farrelly Brothers movie. If I'd have known that I probably would have been interested, but all I heard was people complaining about Ben Stiller (which I agreed with as he'd been way overexposed around that time).

One aspect that is really underrated about their movies is the music. They do an amazing job of finding great quirky songs to fit the scenes. I actually bought several of the soundtrack CDs (it helped that they were like $2 with shipping used on Amazon).

Came in looking for a new Monty Python film. Or possibly a new Airplane.

Leaving disappointed.

P.S. Would have accepted 2nd Anchorman.
