best colored dress shirt for second round interview

black suit looks pretty standard as well

I just say no to the black suit. Gray or blue are generally regarded as the best choices. Black can look a little too funeral-oriented. YMMV.

i agree that black looks too funeral like but last yr during my accounting and finance interviews, the interviewers were always in black so i normally stick with black

white looks like you're poor. get blue with white stripes and a solid tie that matches. have a girl pick it out for you because you will screw it up.

Black suit, white shirt with red or yellow tie is always appropriate. Spend anytime in the professional world and that is what you see. I've been wearing a suit for about 10 years now.

Black is always appropriate followed by charcoal.

color doesn't matter.

What actually matters is how you come across in the interview. Are you trying to wow them? something flashy. But not too flashy, you're interviewing. Make sure it's well ironed, matches your suit and tie, and be confident.

My favorite technique is to spy on the entrance of the building in the morning, and get a shirt that's the exact same color as the guy interviewing me. Great ice-breaker. (i'm just kidding, I always go with a deep blue shirt: I'm a cool guy)

This is exactly what I told him.

LOL, I had the store people dress me for an interview a few years ago.

Last one: blue jeans & a polo shirt, I wore Birkes to the F/U interview & it's the highest paying job I've had yet.
