Here is a good link to a thread i made awhile back about MIT (i didint know the differnce between ITT tech and MIT @ the time  )

University of Michigan. Its EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) department is one of the best in the nation. Prepare to literally work your ass off. I'm not an EECS major but I'm taking an EECS class and it's killing me. Pass/Fail rules!

I graduated from TCNJ. It's a good program, but it has suffered in the past 5 years from 2 deaths, an apathetic administration that doesn't want to pay for good professors and tenured ex-math profs who need to be put out to pasture. They have rebuilt their numbers somewhat, and things are looking up. They also have great facilities for the CS majors, and it's such a nice campus.

I took a couple courses at the NJIT TEC Center in Mt. Laurel, and it's a very nice facility. One class was Calc 2, the other was Algorithms. The teachers were very good, and I was very impressed. The only thing I don't like about NJIT is that the Newark campus is so nasty.

Moving further along, Drexel seems decent, I got the impression there are not a lot of native English-speaking teachers. Not to say they are bad, but sometimes the language gap is troublesome. The urban campus isn't for everyone, but it doesn't seem quite as desolate as NJIT-Newark's.

Of course, CMU and Pitt have very well-known programs, but are farther away still.

Maybe you didn't read his post where he says he doesn't want to travel too far. 3,000 miles is far.

Haha, I did, that is why I listed MIT and CMU first. ;)

He doesn't want to travel far ;) New Jersey isn't all that close to California.

University of Waterloo. One of the best CS programs in the world.

Might be a bit far to travel, but its definatly worth it

Cornell is good maybe Princeton?
I also heard Cornell might instititue a bandwidth limit, over 2 gigs and you start paying for the extra bandwidth.

I graduated from CMU in 1996 (B.S. in Information & Decision Systems with a CS concentration<-CSII almost killed me, farking LISP), there seemed to be quite a few people from New Jersey at the time. Shouldn't be too hard to find a car pool buddy or 2 for the drive down the PA turnpike.
