Baldur's Gate I or II.

The X-Men Legends games are pretty much hack-and-slash RPGs but set in the Marvel X-Men universe instead of in a traditional D&D unverse.

Yep - they're basically Gauntlet with a different tile set and special abilities. 🙂

Right now it's down to Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II or Gauntlet: The Seven Sorrows. Which is a better coop?

I'd probably say Baldur's Gate.

Gauntlet is getting so-so mixed reviews.

While both Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II received favorable reviews.

I myself thoroughly enjoyed Dark Alliance I. Haven't tried II yet.

Yeah, I have BG😀A I, and I beat that in coop with my bro. That was a pretty kick ass game.

had fun with BG dark alliance for ps2. my first game when i bought it! pretty good actually.

heard x-men legends is good. its for PC too!

im sure you guys must have played halo/halo 2 co-op to death already, heh.

Personally, I liked D&D Heroes better than BG: DA.

And yes, Xmen Legends is definitely a hack n' slash RPG. You just use Wolverine's blades (or Cyclop's eye laser thingy, or whatever) instead of a Super Long Sword. 😉

I really liked Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance and finished it both single player and co-op. I have the second one but haven't played it. I have D&D Heros and it's not too bad either and you can play up to 4 people at a time.

OK, I just came back from Blockbuster and rented Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance II. We will be pulling an all nighter to beat it in co-op, wish us luck! 😀
