i was wondering what is considered the best way to make a budget porno. i have a friend that wants to do it so we have something to remember us with, and i just need a camera of course but i dont want to spend money on one because something tells me this wont be a regular thing.

should i get a standalone video cam, or just use like a xv5000 webcam? its the low light that worries me... and i dont care about HD quality. i want it to be clear enough to make out details but its ok if the video fuzzes imperfections over.

im not spending over $100, and hopefully less. this will be a ghetto porn shoot i guess but i just need as good as i can for basically nothing.

Use a Flip. I moved this to the Video Camera forum. That's what it's all about.

Get a flip video camera or just use a point and shoot that does 720p or something. Make sure lights are on and good. They'll all record at least 3 minutes so you'll be fine. :awe:

Grab a used Kodak Playsport. New would be $110-$140. It sounds like the best for your needs, based on the following indisputable facts.

1. It's named playsport, which just sounds like a euphamism for porn. This camera was made for action.
2. Its waterproof, so you can, umm, get it wet if needed.
3. It's shock resistant. If things get crazy and the tripod gets knocked over, it might survive better than a flip.
4. It doesnt do that silly sound that flip cams make when you turn it on/off. You don't want your actors losing the mood due to the goofy sound from the toy camera.

You should definitely use a tripod. Shaky video is bad. If you must move it or hold it by hand, you can use video editing software to level out the shakiness - but remember that the software must zoom in a bit to make this happen (so don't shoot shaky close-ups!).

i have a canon sd400, i think ill just use that. problem is that it has a 1-3 minute timeout on video, and i cant figure out how to get it to shoot continuously. that, and it wont accept my 8gb SDHC card so all i got is 1GB which im not sure is enough or not.

cant figure out if i can use it as a web cam either... im trying to get it to work but i think its usb mode just transfers files.

how about get gopro hd helmet, and mount it on your head while you're doing her doggy style.

make sure you plenty of light in the room. I think the gopro hd is a good choice, since you're mostly shooting action shot and the money shot as well.
