Who makes the best, juiciest, flavorful steak?

While I've had great steak @ independent restaurants, I find these chains to be pretty good. I went into morton's once and they had a special limited time ribeye available, best damn steak I've had ever. Their regular ribeye is just ok. I find flemings very consistent. Mastro's is too salty for me

Mastro's is above Morton's in terms of class and cost IMHO. Ruth's Chris should be on that list, sizzler is pretty lol. I had many, many steaks from sizzler as a kid (along with that magnificent cheese bread)

lol, like how you go straight to Sizzler. 😀 Damn, at least throw in Outback....

I have no opinion on this, btw. Of those, I've only eaten at Houston's, and it was a very long time ago.

Doh, I forgot to add ruth chris. I found their steak ok

I haven't been to a Morton's in a really long time, but have been meaning to try it again. More recently I went to Ruth's Chris and that was a good steak.

re: Morton's, if you want a fairly cheap lunch get their ridiculous burger

13oz of prime wet aged house ground meat, + bacon/mushrooms/onions (optional), $15 cooked anyway you want it.

Why the hell is Sizzler on the list? They're one small step above McDonalds as far as fine dining is concerned. That's like putting Long John Silver's on a list of fine seafood restaurants.

I think if I found myself at a sizzler these days, I'd just eat at the salad bar and get a few plates of this:

Having a hard time believing longhorn is it. That place is fairly mediocre overall. Which steak is the one that is apparently good? Maybe people are voting for them because of that insane 4 million calorie dessert they have that serves 80 people.

Out of the list Mastro's and Morton's are probably the best and most consistent. Ruth's Chris and Flemming's are decent secondary alternatives.

However none hold a candle to a few independent places I've been in Chicago and NYC.

I once found a place in Chicago that did excellent steaks AND pizza.
Never saw anything like that in my life. How can one cook be so awesome?
