Overall most tests conclude Verizon has the best nationwide coverage ... locally results vary widely & coverage inside buildings very likely depends on who has the closest tower to the buliding you happen to find yourself inside, along with what the building is constructed out of.

from my experience, i get reception anywhere my non-verizon friends do, plus some places they don't. however, it is often the case they (non-verizon friends) have more bars than i do in places we all get reception. it doesn't really matter though cause whether i have 1 bar or 5 bars, my phone's sound quality is the same.

It all depends on the location. In RI Verizon is everywhere (I need it) while ATT/Cingular is spotty in some places. In Rochester, NY, ATT/Cingular was better than Verizon. On the road in between the two, ATT/Cingular was horrible and I never had reception when I wanted it while Verizon was always golden.

Verizon has best overall coverage, but phone makes a difference to. I've been told Motorola is very good with reception.

It also depends on the phone. On T-Mobile, I get better reception with my old european Nokia than I do with the Dash.

Depends on the phone, overall probably verizon has the best coverage based on what people I know tell me. For my money though, AT&T has yet to let me down.

I have a line with Verizon and AT&T. I've taken both all over the country and coast to coast. Both performed well and around any major city or interstate you will get excellent coverage.

Depends on where you are. I believe Verizon and T-Mobile are the top two.

T-Mobile blows goats with a vengeance. Anyone who mentions T-Mobile should be castrated.

Verizon and AT&T are the best. I have Verizon.

That is all.

Verizon definitely has the most coverage, especially in rural or mountain areas where other companies have not yet begun to offer coverage. However, you have to pay more for the same amount of minutes, their phones aren't as good, etc. They really seem to favor the Motorolas, which are universally pieces of complete dog sh!t. So it depends what you need most.

I have a T-Mobile phone, and am happy with what I get for the price (very cheap for the minutes), but they definitely do NOT have the best coverage. My experience is that they only have coverage where AT&T already has coverage, and they are missing some of those areas. So they are worse than AT&T, which is already a lot worse than Verizon.
