best cell phone provider for manhattan?

anyone know if they are all pretty decent or is there one that's by far the best in terms of reception in manhattan?

Verizon without a doubt.

ATT is the absolute worst.

There are 2 choices. Verizon and T-mobile.

Everything else sucks really badly, with about as much of the area encompassed in dead zones as working.

Verizon has the best coverage in the tristate area, but TMobile has the best phones, rates, and service. Personally, I've had no problems with TMobile's coverage in the city, they're great.

I HATE SPRINT!

I literally have to use my phone according to sprint.....and thankfully my apt, located in a highrise.....doesnt get signal, oh unless you count my bathroom, and the terrace...


I have to add 1 for t-mobile, and you might want to check cingular....they just got here, and for a while they had some nice deals, like 750 mins--for 30 a month....but that was a while back.

verizon, nextel, & tmobile. only probs w/ verizon & nextel is theyre expensive, and they dont have that huge of a selection of phones.
