BEST CDROM FOR RIPPING??

but I already have a maxtor on it. and i have put my old promised 66ata pci controller on that board and it don't work not even boot it up too

UPDATE:

I got my new Plextor CDRom yesterday and started ripping. WOOOOOOOODoGGY! does that thing work sweet. I can listen to music, browse the web, rip/encode music and chat all at the same time without a single issue.
Very very happy. In just a few hours I had almost 10 cds done.
