Best CD to Mp3 Ripper?

What is the best cd to mp3 ripper? I understand some are better than others..........

Use the --alt preset extreme setting for great quality and a decent file size.

personally I like CDex 1.50. It does the job rather easily, but I also encode stuff into ogg vorbis with it mainly... It encodes mp3's pretty well, and I like bieng able to crank up the bitrate to 350 or so when I rip cds instead of default 128kbps.

Actually I rip to .wav first then go to mp3 (via Lame) from there... cuz then I rip into ogg as well.

EAC couldn't find the latest version of lame I installed.


Cdex 1.5 when downloaded, seems to have lame encoder built-in, no? Am I right or wrong?.........
