No other programs and cfg files are needed. If nero or some other cd burning is installed, chances are aspi is already installed and working. I don't know what the cfg file is doing but its probably setting secure mode, accurate stream, c2 features which might not be supported.
Just download EAC and run autodetect or consult drive specs and set it yourself.
