Best cases with "pull out" motherboard trays?

So what are the best cases with "pull out" motherboard trays? I always liked them better then standard chasis in which once a board is in, its pure dexterity hell to fit ones hands in and muck around if one wants to change anything. Suggestions? Also a case with front USB2/firewire, etc ports with cables that can be connected to the motherboards extra USB / US sockets would be good.

i am partial to mine,

this is the silver version
case

it is ALL aluminum. comes with 5 fans, slide out hard drive tray, slide out mobo tray, 3 windows etc.

here is the black version i have. the trim on mine is silver, but some of the pics show it as gold. im unsure what they are coming in now.

there is also a silver version with a nicer front panel, instead of the plexi front on these two.[L=blue]
 
i have the thermaltake tsunami, which i love by the way. but i still have pangs of regret that i didn't get the lian li v1200 case. i had to save money wherever i could.

There are a few areas in a system that I refuse to cut corners on...

1: Case... Quality isn't cheap and Lian-Li IS quality, especially their V1xxx and V2xxx series cases.
2: Power supply... I'd never expect a cheap PSU to last for very long or perform all that well.
3: Optical drives... Brand of choice (even when more expensive than others): Plextor
4: Hard drives... NONE with anything less than a 3 year warranty on them. ALL new builds get SATA drives
5: Mobo... MSI is on top of the list for brands
6: Input devices... Logitech before ALL others for keyboards and mice. For tablets, Wacom
7: OS... XP Pro or WMCE05 (built on XP Pro so it works) never XP Home.

Most other items have more room to move... If I go with an aftermarket (or non-retail) processor cooler it will be from Thermalright for air cooled. Haven't gotten into the liquid cooling... yet.
For extra cooling on the video card, Arctic Cooling or keep it stock.
 
lian-li is as i understand it, excellent, but i don't for any moment feel that the tsunami is a bad case on the contrary, after some time on this forum and seeing others temps, i have to say that the tsunami (particularly w/ window and window mounted fan is probably one of the coolest cases out there.

here is a picture.

as you can see the zalman 7700 cpu fan, and arctic-cooler silencer 4 on my x800, but also the cases window fan blowing outside air directly on the zalman fan.
 
Personally, I don't want to look at the insides of my computer while it's running. Using quality parts, I know everything is running properly. Plus, with mine as quiet as it is (want it quieter, but that's another thread) I can tell if something is up before I get the notice. It's also nice to not have to crank up the tunes to be able to hear them over the fan whine/noise.

I almost went with one of the Tt shark cases, but after looking at the pictures for a while, I knew I wouldn't have it for long. The lights that show through would eventually just piss me off and I'd have to modify the case to get rid of those (making it more expensive than it needed to be). Plus, the Lian-Li case has the sound dampening material installed on both side panels (full coverage), the top panel, and inside the rear fan shroud. Attention to detail in the Lian-Li is on par with what Foose does with his cars... :shocked:
 
you know akira, thats the great thing about having options. i am happy with what i have (admittedly, the lian-li case appealed to me after a bought the tt).but i must say i have no buyers regret. i had a dell before i built this rig and i am spoiled by how quiet the dells are (after all it's just one fan exhausting air out) that being said, my rig is barely audible and i have the cpu slightly overclocked and the x800pro. you don't like lights and right now i do (though the lighting of my pc is not as garrish as i've seen in other pc's but my pc with the saitek keyboard and it's blue led's look pretty good to me.

The only thing I see that's similar is the processor being used and the cooler brand on our video cards... I have Seagate and WD hard drives, Plextor and Lite-On optical drives, ~820GB of storage between my two RAID arrays, a 6800GT, MSI mobo, faster memory, etc...
 
so far this has been a friendly discussion about cases based on opinion. for some reason, akira, you seem to be making this out to be a "mine is bigger then yours". i am happy for you, i'm glad you have found pc nirvana with your collection of parts and your willingness to share it with the rest of us.... hoorah for you.
 
I found my case to be quite nice, I bought it about 2 years ago. What attracted me to it was the fact that the insides were anodized black already, which was a big plus.

It is certainly up to the user whether they want windows or not, and the same cases I listed come in non window versions. I am not here to sell a case.

and to you akira, please seek help.
 
The OP was asking about the best cases with a removable motherboard tray and as far as I know the Lian Li V series of cases do not have one.
That is the main reason I have not purchased one.
