Best case for iPhone 4/4S?

I just bought a few cases from Monoprice. If I don't like them, they only cost about $1 each with about $2 shipping. I've never been a big case guy, but if it doesn't add much bulk, it should be acceptable.
 
it's confirmed that the 4 and 4S can use the same cases?

Monoprice sounds like a good idea, maybe I'll troll Amazon & eBay too.

I only spent $5 (including shipping) on 3 potential cases, so if it doesn't work... I'm not exactly too worried. 😛

But when the guy at the AT&T store showed me some cases, the packaging only said "iPhone 4" on it. I did notice that some of the cases had larger openings for the camera though.
 
Macworld.com reports the 4S is laid out the same as the Verizon iPhone 4. Any case that fits the VZ iP4 should work fine.
 
I have been looking at upgrading from my 3GS to the 4S and the cases I have been looking at:

Otter Box Defender (I have one on my 3 GS and like it a lot)
Mophie
Lifeproof

Any ideas on these or suggestions?
 
Grrr... just got email from OtterBox that the 4S Commuter cases I ordered aren't shipping yet due to overwhelming demand. I guess it's just one more indication that Apple is printing money with these things. 😛

I like the Magpul Executive Field Case

Thin, but protective. Great grippy feel that doesn't attract any lint. Excellent price.

I also own the Casecrown metallic slider, which is a very nice case, and looks awesome, but I found the surface far too slick. I was paranoid holding my phone that it was going to go flying out of my hands.
 
Screen protectors on the front and back and a SGP bumper for me.

^^^ Also got the all black capsule rebel for my 4S.

best case, and does come with everything you could ever need. I especially like the dust covers for charge/headphone ports, along with the screen protector.

My wife got a rebel capsule based on so many comments here. I don't like it at all. It's too slick and the spine on the back won't let it lay flat.

I've got the vulcan and after a week it's already getting a little sloppy around the edges. Switcheasy hasn't really impressed me for the prices.

The reason I love mine so much (on the 3gs) was that I dropped the phone several times from a fairly decent height and my phone stayed beautifully protected.

it's a tried and true case for me
