Hi All, I am thinkng to build a system with the EPoX Mini ME Model EP-EX5320N. Wonder what's the highest grade of graphic card I can use for this system since it only has a 200W PS!

I am thinkng to throw in a Sempron 3000+, 2 x 512 PC2700 ram (as it supports dual channel), NEC 16X DVD Writer, West Digital 80gb IDE HD and a USB Wireless Adapter. Wonder if this is a good setup for gaming with Sims 2 or similar type of games! Anyone has any experience with such EPoX barebone system? I chose such system since I also want it to be a media center for playing music or radio without turning on the OS. But I also get a good graphic card for gaming given the limitation of the box.

Thanks in advance for all the time and help!

well, you can get very good 200watts PSUs...its all quality, so post its specs (rails) and see if someone can help you

and why would you use intergrated??? those eat up your computer ram and dont play games for crap

unless you really wanna save money or be safe and not play games, intergrated is ok...

for 200watts...hmmm....you could try a 9200 or a 9600 radeon

I would aim low, like a 9200, 9250, or a 9550 or 9600. Not sure what would be the appropriate choices from the nVidia selection though.

Both NewEgg and EPoX sites only mention the Power Supply: 200W (APFC)

I can't find any further information about the PS. I guess it's the weak point that's why they don't want to give much detail.

Does anyone know if this type of PS suppose to be good?

I actually thought about the 6600 also but don't know if it's a good idea that's why I posted my question here. Now I am thinking if I should aim low and get a 9600 AIW or 9600XT AIW but even that I don't know if the PS will handle well. Any idea?

I think that it would probably be able to handle anything shy of a 9800xt power consumption wise, a 9700, a 6800 etc. should be alright (and yes the 6800 uses less power than a 9800xt)

so a 9600XT AIW would be fine? Even it's with AIW? Thanks.

I have a Shuttle SN45G with a 200W PS and a BFG 6800 GT OC installed with no problems, also have 1GB of RAM, 1 HD, 1 DVD burner and a PCI sound card.

It is really going to depend on the quality of the PS you get.

Thanks for your comment. Hopefully EPoX will ship with a good PS. Anyone knows the product quality of EPoX?
