Best Card for <$100

I got a friend who wants a new video card, catch is it has to be under $100. He has been looking at like ati 9200s and such. Any suggestions? I don't know what to tell him as I don't know anything about these older cards.
 
If they have a working video card (doesn't matter how old), to use the ATI trade-up program.

They currently have a 9600XT for $119.00. Not a bad card for that price.

If you can't get the 9600Pro or XT, get a Geforce 4 Ti 4600 or MSI's 4800.

They're similar in performance, but the 9600 pro/XT is indeed stronger.
 
A friend of mine just bougfht a 256MB 9600Pro for $110. A little over the budget, but well worth the upgrade from the plain 9600.
