looking to give my car a nice wash and wax tomorrow. any advice on a good wax?

and damn AT is slow right now

the only thing you'll be able to find locally is meguiar's

if you can get to a kragen or something they should have meguiar's #26 hi tech yellow

There was a site posted a while back comparing 4 waxes. That should help, if anyone can find it

And yes AT is slow

people seem to like zaino. 3 step meguars isn't bad either. zaino probably lasts longer. cleaner+wax in one is inferior as always.

Meguiars is good inexpensive stuff that can be found at most any car parts store. Their Gold Class provides an excellent shine. Zainos does last longer but as I tend to wax my car once a month (or more 😱) during the summer anyway, it's a moot point.

most will say zaino is the best...megiuars is probably the best that's available locally. I DO NOT reccommend mothers.

If you can wait, or will re-wax, I would get Zaino's. I just got it for my car (it has black paint, so it's a PITA to keep clean) and the Zaino Brothers was great. I purchased the whole system, and cannot be happier. The site is www.zainostore.com .

Is this a lifetime car or a 3 to 5 year car?
In 3 to 5 years most modern paint will be fine with regular washes and even the cheapest of wax (turtle wax 🙂 )
Red paint does seem to fade faster than other colors, though.

My brother's probably tried everything under the sun, but found Surluster to be the best wax. He said it's the smoothest you can find, but also one of the most expensive!
