I'm going to have to cast my vote for Ronin.

I've seen Bullitt, but I still have to give the nod to Ronin IMO.

And I don't even really like Audis, so I didn't base my opinion on that.

When ever my friends or someone at work starts talkin' about a good car chase sequence, Ronin automatically just pops into my head. That was one helluva car chase you gotta admit :)

There is a pretty old movie (like from the late 80's) that is names something like "stolen in 60 seconds"... Dunno the actual name... but it goes pretty much like "gone in 60 seconds" besides that there are more car-chases on the old movie
:)

Anyone of u seen it?

Vanishing Point

The original, the remakes, it doesn't matter. That was a car chase movie. Also The Chase w/ Charlie Sheen wasn't bad (another movie that was almost entirely a car chase)

1. Bullitt

2. The French Connection......chasing a subway train (actually the elevated section)....takes a door off a car completely by accident (was a civilian who got into the movie's filming area, parked his car, opened his door to exit and got clobbered by Hackman....looked so good, they kept it in the film).

Definitely the two best.......if you haven't seen them, rent them!

well, it doesn't really qualify as a "car chase scene" ,but the motorcycle/big rig chase in T2 kicked major ass. i love replaying that scene over and over. parts where Schwarzenegger is shooting the chains off the fences while driving is badass. that movie just rocks anyhow :)

I'd have to say Ronin...the way they were drivin' through those narrow streets was pretty cool.

Saw Bruce Willis in "Color of Night" and the lame car chase was the best thing in it. (Except for the nude girls, hyuk, hyuk)

Death Race 2000

He He, probably one of the ten worse pictures of all time. Kicked myself for spending the money to see it.

I don't know about theatres, but I did rent it from the video store for a buck :)

It was worth it for the blonde girl getting naked and the best line in the movie:
"It's a hand grenade" :D :D

BTW, I think the movie was made in the mid to late 70's.

What! No votes for any of the Smokey and the Bandit movies??

There were also good chase scenes in the following:

The Big Hit
The Last Boy Scout

Blues Brothers has my vote! Its the first movie that came to mind, years after I've seen it.
