I am gonna have to go with Picard also. I didnt grow up with the original and I was 14 when TNG started, so I am kinda partial to Picard.:D

Janeway, no question about it, best captain. She is the only captain that could take on the Borg on her own ;) .. and win.

Not the most fun captain though.

My order

1. Janeway
2. Kirk
3. Picard
4. Sisko

Captain Janeway to me just showed so much spunk. She was daring and compassionate all the same.

Picard. He managed to make the skintight uniforms from early in the series look good, unlike the girdled Kirk.

And he was a pretty badass guy, too. :D

My personal fav is Sisko but I watched the whole series as I was in my teens so im kinda partial to it.... I didn't like any of the Voyager seasons.... their plot was way too similar each week. Fly the ship for a bit get in trouble and spend the rest of the time trying to figure out how to solve it. Also it was all on the ship and DS9 took place in Cardassia, Klingon Empire, Freignar, and of course the stateion.

Picard was the ultimate leader. Sisko was the the ultimate "go to guy' (always knowing how to win when the sh*t was hitting the fans), and Kirk was the ultimate bad*ss. Only spunk I saw on Janeway would come from Chikotay after he got done with her. ;)

My Order (the correct order):

1. Picard
2. Sisko
3. Janeway
4. Kirk

Kirk sucked.. he acted about as well as Brett Favre in Something About Mary

Picard - Can't beat an old, wise guy who's still got muscles

Sisko - Intimidation factor

Janeway - Pretty good for a girl :p

I would have to leave Janeway out of the list. I would have liked to have seen how the series would have gone if Chakotay was Captain. Janeway was not written correctly. Her morals changed from episode to episode. She didn't want the Kazon taking over Kes's planet so she destroyed that space station. But she then says she can't interfer with other cultures development.

Picard was a great Captain with excellent leadership capabilities, but was lacking in the poon department.

Sisko was a also a great Captain. He almost seemed like a continuation of Picard. His character was well written, he was a talker and could defuse a situation with words just like Picard. But he also had some kirk in him. If push came to shove he would shove back. He's the only one ballsy enough to punch Q.

Kirk was THE MAN. He could kick anyones a$$ and get any woman.

Sulu was cool because of his loyalty to his former crew.

Mem: are you kidding me? he was too polite? that man scared me when he gave orders or was angry. He was the perfect captain. intimidating, but kind, excellent leadership abilities, and allinall a well respected individual.

Jeffrey: which episode did Sisko punch Q? can you give me the name of it?

lol, oh yeah, and did anyone see National Lampoons Senior Trip? that star trek fanatic was hilarious!
"full speed ahead, Mr. Sulu"
"Mr. Sulu? Im Mr. Wu!"
"Oh I see," pulls out a phaser, "traitor of the federation!"

Piccard.

Sisko was good to.

Kirk I didn't like becuase he was a pretty poor actor in the TV series. Good in themovies though.
Or maybe his character was just written really poorly in the series and he acted REALLY well.

Janeway just seems gutless...I like the idea of a female captain...but there's just something wrong with her character.
