best cable setup?

Which is better, 25' of coaxial cable and 3' cat5 or vice versa (3' coax and 25' cat5)? Or does it matter, in terms of loss of signal strength or whatever science thing happens?
 
don't think it matters, but I know that Cat5 (assuming it's OEM or you really know how to make/certify cables) is good for 100 Meters (320ish feet)
 
I think cat5 UTP has less attenuation (sp?) than coax.
In another word, I'd choose 3' coax and 25' cat5.
