best buys new web site SUX. OMFG it is soo fugly.

Not all that bad. Definitely easier to navigate, but yes, the purple has to go. Replace that with a lighter blue or gray and the site would be an improvement over the old one.
 
I was just there browsing thier weely ads and I thought I typed the wrong URL when I noticed what a shi++y looking site.

I noticed the same thing! Whoever is running the site should be fired ASAP. A 10th grade HS student could do a better job of updating the site ... and to think this is a site for one of the biggest national computer stores in America.

Apparently the customer service people were doing such a good screwing over customers, they promoted them to website design and administration....

Too many colors. The purple is only on the front page. Others have other wacked colors.

They need to stick to a similar set of colors in addition to the white(space).

Other than that, it's MUCH easier to find what you need.

But if you want to see a GREAT commerce site, check out epuck.com. Nevermind the subject matter... the point is they have product reviews, user reviews/comments on every product they sell. They also have custom webtools that allow you to find if it is the perfect size/fit for you. Never seen better.
