So, I was at BB earlier today, looking for a cheap video card, and spotted a fairly decent deal on an open box 7600GS. Problem is, the card didn't look right through the cutout in the box - I checked inside, and needless to say, it was some old ATI AGP card, probably made back in the days when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. I notified a sales drone, but he didn't seem to give a crap about it at all - just said "yeah, OK" and walked off, didn't even take the box off the shelf. What the hell is wrong with BB? Why don't they let someone who can tell a video card from donkey's ass (no pun intended) handle the returns, or at least inspect the stuff before tossing it back on the floor? If they don't care about their profits, can't they at least think about all the customers who are getting screwed over when they buy open box stuff? I know they can trace it back to the scumbag if he was dumb enough to use his credit card, but I highly doubt it'll do them any good if they don't bust him while he's doing the return - "it was fine when I returned it, must've been one of your people."
