Returned merchandise is tested to make sure that works before being put back on the shelf, is clearly labeled, and usually discounted. Most stores just put returned items back on the shelf without even labelling them as such. Would you prefer that Frys did that?Originally posted by: ElFenix
i hate how fry's puts broken merchandise back on the shelf.
It's not a manager, it's the "PIC", or whoever is in charge of the returns dept. at that particular time. He works only in that area, always comes quickly when called, and is there to sign off on the return. It's pretty standard in most stores do have a supervisor sign off on returns/exchanges.i also hate how they have to get a manager to examine all returns so that it takes 2x as long as it should.
It only takes a second and you don't have to do that. But if you walk past (and you can) and don't let them mark your receipt, then you can't return any of the items you purchased if defective. Most stores do this so I don't know why people always bitch about Frys doing it.and i hate that they try to make me open my bag and show them what i bought when i leave.

In short, you're just complaining about things that other stores do too.
I  Frys. Although the deals haven't been as good of late. I did get a 50 pack of DVD media for $2 bucks after $10 MIR recently though.![]()
